Therapeutic Massage

Tailored care, Intentional touch, Room to breathe.

At Lovingkindness Bodyworks, every session starts with listening to your needs and your body’s responses. Whether you seek relief from specific pain, general tension, or the simple need to rest, the work is entirely shaped around you.

My Philosophy
I see massage as a dialogue with the body. By applying skilled, patient touch, I allow your system the time it needs to respond and release. I believe profound results come from focused attention and gentle precision. Your comfort is my priority, and we will always adjust pressure to your preference.

My integrative approach combines therapeutic massage and myofascial techniques to address the link between physical stress and your nervous system's ability to relax.

What to Expect
Sessions are flexible. We may focus on a specific area or provide a full-body experience using flowing strokes, slow fascia work, or rhythmic movement. You never have to choose between clinical results and relaxation; my goal is to provide both.

Your Experience
Before we begin, we will discuss your goals and sensitivities. This is a respectful, unhurried space where your feedback is encouraged. Together, we will create a session that helps you settle into your body and find ease.

Come as you are.

Benefits of Therapeutic Massge

Therapeutic massage offers time to address physical discomfort while making space for rest. Depending on your needs, it may help ease muscle tension, encourage relaxation, and provide short-term relief from some types of pain.

At Lovingkindness Bodyworks, each session is designed to support:

  • Comfort: Thoughtful, focused attention to areas that feel tight, tired, or overworked.

  • Relaxation: A quiet space to slow down and take a break from everyday demands.

  • Body awareness: An opportunity to notice where you hold tension and what feels helpful.

  • Personalized care: Techniques, pressure, and pacing adapted to your comfort and goals.

My approach emphasizes gentle, attentive work with muscles and fascia. Your feedback guides the session, with the goal of helping you feel more comfortable, rested, and connected to your body.

Is Therapeutic Massage Right for You?

When Massage May Be Helpful

Therapeutic massage may be a good fit if you are seeking support for:

  • Muscle tension, stiffness, or everyday aches.

  • Neck, shoulder, or back discomfort.

  • Tension associated with repetitive activities or prolonged sitting.

  • Stress and a need for quiet, restorative time.

  • Ongoing muscular discomfort as part of a broader care plan.

Each session is tailored to your health history, comfort, and goals. My approach uses gentle, responsive touch, with pressure and techniques adjusted throughout the session.

When to Postpone Your Session

Please postpone massage if you have a fever, a contagious illness, or an active skin infection. A known or suspected blood clot, a new fracture, or sudden unexplained pain or swelling requires medical assessment before massage.

When We May Need to Adjust the Work

Please let me know about recent surgery or injury, pregnancy, osteoporosis, cancer treatment, bleeding disorders, blood-thinning medications, or areas with reduced sensation. These circumstances may require modified positioning, lighter pressure, avoiding certain areas, or guidance from your healthcare provider.

Massage is avoided directly over open wounds, burns, infected skin, healing fractures, and acutely inflamed or injured tissue. A localized concern may allow us to work safely elsewhere.

Your comfort and safety guide every session. Please share changes in your health before your appointment so we can determine an appropriate approach together. Massage supports well-being and complements medical care; it does not replace diagnosis or treatment.
